Interested In Volunteering?

Are you a compassionate and committed individual who wants to help transform the lives of others through God’s love? If so, You Medical is looking for you.

Most of our volunteers are asked to give two to six hours weekly. Some positions require special training, which we will provide.

Volunteers Are Needed Immediately for the Following Positions:

Parent Mentor

The Parent Mentor equips new and expecting parents through one-on-one mentoring to educate them about pregnancy, birth, infants, and the first years. They are knowledgeable about resources in the community. Generally, weekly sessions are for moms, but dads are also invited to attend.

You will oversee a learning and earning program for a couple to gain parenting skills and, in turn, earn necessities such as diapers, wipes, and baby clothes. This program is available to clients through birth up to one year old.

Parent Mentors must be available one day a week for a 4.5-hour shift. Training for this position generally takes up to three months until a Parent Mentor receives clients.

Client Advocate

The Client Advocate works side by side with our medical staff to meet with women who come to the center for a potential pregnancy. With love and empathy, they provide options consultations and practical help.

This volunteer will need to understand the facts surrounding adoption, abortion, and parenting to assist women and men seeking information and options for pregnancy.

Client Advocates must be available one day a week for a 4.5-hour shift. Training for this position generally takes up to three months.

Other Volunteer Positions Available:

Fatherhood Mentor

Our Fatherhood Mentors meet with dads to promote healthy relationships within families and spend time with other dads.

Lawncare and Janitorial

This person helps maintain the grounds around the clinic, including cutting the grass, pulling weeds, and assisting with various janitorial duties.

We also need groups to help with spring cleaning and other projects.
